Day 175

movie: Thank You for Smoking
starring: Aaron Eckhart, Maria Bello
genre: Drama, Comedy
year:2005
format: TV EDIT

plot: A spin doctor for the tobacco companies starts to question why he's doing what he does when a reporter prints a story about him and he gets kidnapped.

Serious topic done in a witty way.  Not too sure what the message here is.
You start off thinking of the main characters as the bad guys, then as victims, then as really bad guys, then sort of as the underdogs.
This has more to do with the way the lead character interacts with society then it does about the actual topic of smoking.

what do i think i learned from this film?
If you know how to express both sides of any debate, then you will always have the upper hand.
